Read in the Elevator of Harvard's Health Center

"April is the cruelest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring."
-T. S. Eliot, "The Waste Land"

another april thought:

When April showers/they come your way
they bring the flowers/that bloom in may
So when it's raining/have no regrets
it isn't raining rain you know
it's raining violets

My Grandmother used to sing that to me..
